What's your favourite scanner brand?

I have put a tick for Uniden as that is the way i am going.

A few years ago i was all AOR but the price is going up to much for my pocket.

Yeah Uniden got my vote too

I wish I was in the higher end of the market but budget keeps me on the lower end although I've managed to get a good collection.

Although Uniden are my favourite and definitely top choice mobile wise my favourite base scanner is The Sturdy Realistic pro 2006.

I've got the newer Realistic 2042 too and although it has 1000 channels and other feautures along with a more modern look the 2006 performs better for me. UHF on the 2042 seems to sensitive for me and gives me a buzz when I connect it to one of my external antennas.

The Bearcat 92xlt is my mobile companion though and well worth the price, in fact it's the only one I own now that I bought from new
